Do you have an organization and need a speaker? How about some interesting and fun topics?

Would you like to know what Karla Jean’s offshore world really looked like? The rigs? The swinging personnel baskets? The escape pods? How about a PowerPoint presentation to find out?

Would you like to know what it was like to sail off on a U.S. merchant ship in 1978 at age 18 as the lone female?

Have you been thinking about writing those memoirs, compiling your poetry, or moving forward with that novel that’s crying to be born?

How hard is it to write a book? Might you have what it takes?

What the heck is “indie publishing” and what could that mean to you? Did you know that technology exists now to allow anyone to see their work published? Even for free?

I am an author and a teacher who has taught everything from pre-K to 12th grade, and am now currently teaching GED and ESL to adults. I can speak for five minutes or three hours. Give me a topic and a time limit and I will give your organization a memorable speaking appearance!
